Start a pharmacy business?

After looking for suzuki custom floor mats, I met up with a primary school best friend.

We were the best of friends who had the same interest since young, we were very similar in many things, except that she was way smarter, and scored better in exams! Lol. We used to be known as ‘the twins’ at school. We went for tuition together, school trips, played sports, represented the school for various activities together, and now we are both pharmacists too! Lol

Guess what? We even have the same dream! That is to set up a pharmacy business together?? Omg! If our dream really come true, wouldn’t it be great?! I had a great day meeting my childhood friend, catching up and talking business. ha-ha.

Smurf or Cars?

I havn’t got many days left in Malaysia. Since I came back, I still havn’t visited the cinema yet!! Sad right?

Well, I have a couple more days left, I thought I should go see at least 1 movie before I head back to the land of ‘boredom’ .. But there are so many shows at the moment, which one to watch? I must make sure I pick the best one, so my 2 hours won’t go to waste.. Lol

Check out the trailer of cars.

Ramadan Bazaar @ TTDI

After checking out some garmin golf stuff,  I visited the Ramadan Bazaar in TTDI the other day. I was actually hunting for some fried cempedak, because I know it is cempedak season at the moment! I wasn’t very lucky, couldn’t find any pisang goreng stall.

Well they were selling, popiah, putu mayam, ayam percik, kebab, and other Malay style dishes. People started swarming to the Ramadan Bazaar by 4.30pm to get ready to break fast at dinner time, my friend and I left soon after.

Facial

Facial

Don’t laugh, I have never been for a proper facial before. I have been pretty lucky that my face is quite clear, so did not require much treatment or extra care.

Visiting home this time, my mum have arranged for a proper 3 hour facial for me as a treat coming Sunday! Yahoo. Hopefully it’s going to be a good and relaxing experience!

After travelling for almost 20 hours, I finally touched down at KLIA at 2pm today. I am glad to be home again, hehe. Guess what I had for my 1st meal back home??

Guang Dong Roast Duck it is! And fuk kin meen from Damansara Restaurant. Yum Yum. I am liking everything back home, except for the hot and humid weather, feels so sticky here, I think I have to shower 3 times a day now!!

Travelling with only 1 hand carry

I should really get spia quotes since I travel so much, just incase if any cancellation occurs or baggage loss, then I can claim for some compensation eh?

Anyway, because I’ve been travelling so much, I stopped bringing huge luggage bags with me, not even small suitcase! I only carry a hand luggage that I can bring with me into the aeroplane, and bypass the luggage collection bit, that normally takes another hour or so, at least I can save some time and go straight home to rest.

This time, I am doing the same, but I can’t believe how heavy my hand luggage is! I think my luggage has exceeded the maximum allowed weight, so I have to remove my laptop, carry it with me, and check in my hand carry this time! Argh.

Have you travelled light when you go abroad??

02 Customer Service

So this is the first time signing for a business contract. Not that I needed the services, but it costs the same for signing up for a normal tarrif, the only thing is you normally need to show proof of your business, but I guess the guy who served me was a noobie, so he signed me on a business plan without asking me to show anything at all!

The benefits are great! I have been so pleased and satisfied with their services over the phone. Only on one occasion, I was connected to one of the staff who deals with all other customers, she wasn’t very helpful, kinda rude as well. But whenever I ring 8002, dial number, that would connect you to the business tarrif team, and they are SO different.

I had 2 conversations so far with 2 different staff, and they were brilliant, they have delivered more than I have expected. She told me all about the priority moments app, about switching off my data roaming when I am abroad, telling me I could be charged £6 a minute of loading 1MB, and getting charged £0.50 per minute for answering a phone call abroad, and telling me how to deactivate my 02 voicemail too! Just dial 1760 to deactivate, and 1750 to reactivate, how easy right? And you won’t be charged nothing.

CPD day

I attended my first CPD day in Taunton today. Before this it was the Aspire trainings that we go for instead of the CPD days, now that Aspire has officially ended, the CPD days replace that. Happy times NOT. The good thing is I get to go shop with my famous footwear coupons after the training. Haha.

Well, the good thing is we get to go for a full day of training at a hotel, instead of going to work, and we still get paid the same. So why not right? Today’s training was really beneficial; it was all about the NMS (new medicine service) that will officially take place from the 1st of October.

There will be some new procedures involved in engaging and providing advice to those patients who have just been prescribed a completely new medication. The difference between an MUR and NMS is that there will be 2 follow ups after the initial chat.

There are also some changes around clinical governance and targeted MURs. All in all, a pretty good day today, and many more CPD entries too!

Shocking taxi fares in Heathrow

So I booked a night at Easyhotel Heathrow, which is about 2 miles away from the airport. You’d think 2 miles, would only take 5 minutes drive right, and normally it would costs around £5-£7 for that distance. Well ok, it is London airport, so a little bit more maybe £8-10. But NO, they were asking for £16!! Can you believe it???

Did it take it? Obviously no! Luckily the taxi driver was quite nice, he said it is very expensive; why not take the shuttle to the hotel. Argh, great, the HOppa shuttle bus only costs £8 return! So much more affordable. At least I could order a nice Indian takeaway for tea having saved up some money not taking taxi to hotel. Haha

Other games I play include smurf’s village, Ninjump, Cut the rope, Traffic rush. There are so many more games I’d like to play, but most of the full versions require $$$. I was thinking of jail breaking, wonder if it is legal? And if it is safe to do so Lol. Please advice if you know
