x factor uk vs usa!

Do you follow x factor ?? UK or USA ??

I do watch both, but I definately prefers the USA version, where Simon Cowell is one of the judges there.

The UK version is not interesting without Simon Cowell. And this year’s contestants aren’t anything much to cheer for. Can you believe I was actually surfing on rv travel emergency whilst watching? Lol. I only remember one girl – Janet Devlin, who is young and has a unique voice. However, she is getting a little bit boring to me now.

I think there are more talents in USA, especially younger generations, are so good. They performed above my expectations. There are several contestants that I like – Rachel Crow, Drew, Melanie Amaro, and Astro. Mostly below the age of 15!!What do you think?

Nothing is impossible

Anyone with drug addiction or alcoholic problems should watch Chris Rene’s videos.

This guy was addicted to alcohol, weeds to cocaine etc , but he managed to be clean from drugs and be sober for almost 7 months now with the help of his keyworker, and family’s support.

Then after he joined the X factor, and is currently one of the top 10 contestant, he is even more confident he will never go back to where he was, and now inspiring millions of people out there who are in the same shoes as him.

Dream to open a pharmacy

I have always wanted to venture into business since young, any sort. But lately, after I have graduated from pharmacy, and have worked for 2 years, I think having my own retail pharmacy business would be a great idea!

I just came across a website for name plates, I thought it will come into good use when I really start setting up my business. Id definately look into that a little bit more once I have completed my 1 year service with the government.

Instead of saying I Hope, I guess Id say I will make my dream come through in the next couple of years!

Tummyache!

I guess I have lived in UK for far too long, that my tummy can no longer tolerate Malaysian food. I love malaysian food, but if I eat out I will almost certainly get diarhoa next day. How sad right?

And today with no exception, nausea plus diarhoa! Joy! Yesterday my friends and I visited a Thai restaurant in kota damansara, we ordered the normal dishes, green curry, tom yum, pad thai, kangkung, etc. The 1st 2 dishes had a lot of coconut in them, and I guess thats the culprit causing me tummy problem.

It is not the best time to have a tummy upset because Im going for a buffet tonight!! JOgoya  for the first time. I hope after a few hours rest, I will feel better.

Home!

Guess what? Im home again!

After my 6 days wonderful trip in Iceland, I am now back at home. CHilling, relaxing, sleeping, and of course, studying, I even had time to search for Audiologist Jobs online for a friend!!! I came back for a few weeks to prepare for my pharmacy exam, which is on the 14th November.

I am still procrastinating, not able to sit still and study yet, I just want to go out all the time! Haha… Its been a year or 2 since I last touched any books, and properly study and memorising facts.

Its gonna be tough to get back to my books, but I m gonna try, or else ill be back in March to resit the paper, which I do not want!

Iphone 4s

Iphone 4s is out in UK, and Singapore, but not in Malaysia. I was trying to get hold of one for a friend in Malaysia who can’t wait any longer, however, it is out of stock everywhere in UK, including London! Why am I not surprised.

I tried Exeter, Plymouth, London, Iceland, and the airports, but they were all out of stock. Apparently the easiest way to get one is to order online, and wait for 2 weeks. I wonder whether there will be any delays with that.

Some of my friends gave up trying, and just bought iphone 4!! Haha. I managed to find 2 iphone 4 in Iceland, but they were £550, a lot more expensive compared to UK. So I gave up trying. Anyone got lucky with Iphone 4s yet???

My Attempt at Ice Climbing

So when I was in Iceland, I had my first try of climbing on an ice wall! Boy it was harder than I thought. After that day, I needed a super power custom mattress to support my bodyache, resulting from the climbing! Lol.

ice climb

The guide demonstrated how to climb the ice wall, safely. He did it effortlessly, so I thought, It can’t be that hard, especially when we were well equipped.

I let the european gals have their go first. They all seemed pretty good at it. Then my friend went, and he struggled! Oh my. I started to worry a little, but hey I was an athelete during school days, it shouldnt be too bad right. Then finally it was my turn, boy I struggled so much. It was a really exhausting task, you need to have strong arms, and right foot work. I tried so hard, and wasn’t going anywhere, the guide had to help pull me up ;)   having said that, I still made it to the top, and I don’t regret trying it! It was a great experience, altogether.

Iceland rules!

So of all the European holidays I have been to, Iceland is by far the best.

In Iceland, I manage to experience things for the 1st time, and it felt awesome! Iceland is very different from other cities I have been to – it is known as the land of ice and fire. Out of the city, all you see is ashes from the volcanic eruptions, or ice and glacier.

iceland 2

During this trip, I managed to climb my 1st ice wall, saw northern lights for the 1st time, ate minke whale for the 1st time, visited a glacier lagoon for the 1st time, saw geysir for the 1st time, and also experienced a geothermal spa in Iceland for the first time!! Yahhooo… Awesome feeling.

If anyone is thinking of going for a holiday that is out of the norm, Id suggest Iceland!!
