So, what are the best way to invest money?

Everyone has a preference in how they use their hard earned money to make more money for them right? So besides Fix deposits, what is the next best option?

Hmm.. I have to start thinking about this, since I am going home for good soon. I heard many of my friends have invested in gold bars, maybe I should consider that as well. I am not sure if this time is a good time to buy gold, I guess, with every investment, you need to have some knowledge first, so before I consider further, I guess I will get some books of buying gold!
