Bruno Mars coming to Malaysia 2011

This is so strange, the other day I was saying to a friend that if bruno mars were to have a concert in malaysia, I would so go for it, no matter how much I have to pay. I just want to watch him sing Grenade live! This song is my favourite at the moment, it keeps playing in my head, even when I am at work.

And guess what?? The other day a friend posted on facebook, saying that Bruno Mars is going to Malaysia, PWTC on the 10th of April, and that is when I am home in Malaysia. Such a coincidence. However, the bad news is, because he is so popular now, everyone wants to go see him, and the tickets are already sold out when I knew about it! Such a shame, isn’t it.

I thought maybe I can go on ebay to see if anyone is going to sell their tickets. I know many people who likes to buy all the tickets early, then sell it at a higher price to make some profit. Most of the time, this works, because crazy fans are willing to pay any amount to watch their idol, eh.

Another New Technology released

blackberry-playbook-xl

I am in a dilemma now. What sort you may ask?? When I am about to decide on my new treat for myself, I discovered another new released – the Blackberry Playbook. It is the Blackberry version of Ipad.

Before this, I was still contemplating whether I should get an Iphone, or Ipad. Now that there is the Blackberry Playbook, I think I will need to reconsider. This new technology looks really nice!

Fellow readers, if you have one of these gadgets, please share what you think of them. I want to treat myself with a  new technology, but I am only going to be buying one. I also know that Iphone 5 will be coming out very soon! Oh my, I can’t keep up with the technology. What do you think of the new Playbook?

Overseas wedding insurance

I know nowadays everything requires insurance ie. home and life insurance, car insurance, gadgets insurance etc, but I didn’t know much about wedding insurance until today when I had to help a friend compare wedding insurance online, then realised how important it is to have your wedding insured.

wedding

If you are holding your wedding abroad, overseas wedding insurance would be vital as you would be spending a lot of money organizing it away from home including travelling fees, conversion expenses etc. and if, an unfortunate event occurs, you have to cancel or rearrange your wedding, at least you don’t have to suffer the huge loss. All or some expenses will be covered depending on the package you apply for.

At the moment, due to the valentines period, many online insurance companies are offering discounts for wedding insurance, so if you are getting married within the next few months, and still have not got your wedding insured, be sure to think twice, you don’t want to risk having a huge loss if anything happens on your big day!

Back to childhood days

On New Year ’s Day my friends and I played pool, bowling, and kiap kung chai (plush toys vending machine), it feels like we have gone back to school days. I have always thought the toy vending machines are there to cheat people’s money, but today my friend managed to grab a toy at her 1st attempt! How lucky.

She got woody’s girlfriend, Jessie from toy story. Her expression was priceless – she is always the ‘big kid’ amongst our group of friends. Eventhough today was just another day, but I enjoyed myself, because I didn’t have to think about work, just relax and enjoy the day with friends.

A visit to Greenwich, London

Greenwich is such a beautiful little place, tucked away from central of London, it is still very crowded as tourist from all around the world comes here to stand on the meridian Greenwich, the longitude line where it is 0 degrees on the globe. I too have snapped a picture here finally!

The painted hall in Greenwich is also an amazing piece of art work, apparently it took over 100 years to complete the painting. The whole hall including the walls and ceilings are painted. Very nice eh?? Have you been to Greenwich??

Crazy busy trains

Due to the weather, the sales and the bank holidays, travelling by train is a nightmare. Most of the time the trains were delayed, if not delayed, then there will be too many people travelling home. I was in Exeter shopping during Boxing Day and the 2 bank holidays after that.

Trying to get my luggage, and bags on the train was challenging! I was so near to other passengers that I practically watched the whole episode of wrestling on someone else’s Ipad, how funny is that! We were breathing in each other’s breathe, it was that bad! They had to transfer some people to another train!! Crazy eh?

Home sweet home @ Bath

It feels so good to be back at Bath! I mean even for a day, it was worth the 2.5 hr journey. Bath is where I 1st arrived when I came to England; it is also where I did my degree. I feel I took Bath for granted because when I was there I didn’t appreciate it, but now that I have seen other parts of the country, Bath is indeed the most beautiful city in England. One of my friends came over to England not long ago, so we brought him to several tourist spots.

The Pulteney Bridge – this place brings back lots of memories, as we always got down at the bus stop right in front of this bridge, but I never took time to look at it properly. Now that I am back for leisure, I realised how beautiful it actually is!

The Crescent – never took any picture here in 4 years, I know I am hopeless! But at least now I have.

Bowling

I havn’t played bowling in 2 years I think! After a night of bowling my wrist and fingers were hurting. We overestimated ourselves, 2 games is definately too tiring, especially when we havn’t played for a long time!

In the 1st game, we were still enjoying and aiming to score. Then during 2nd game, our hands were giving up on us already! Do you enjoy bowling?? During the bank holiday on 27th Dec, I will be heading to Plymouth for 3 bowling games, hopefully I will be up for it then! I can’t wait!!

Food lover

I have several comments from my friends recently. They said going out eating with me is really good, because I will not fail to order a table full of food each time. Another friend said she can’t stay at my place for a long time, as she will put on weight real fast, as I keep cooking and feeding her.

Then when I went to Dorset to visit a friend, She also said, she always end up spending lots of money if go out eating with me, and also had comments from her other friends that we eat a lot! Then my colleagues at work says that I eat so much, and always buy snacks and sweets to feed them, that I have a mission to make them increase weight whilst I remain slim. Lol!!

I am just being really random, but suddenly I thought of all the recent comments I had from people about eating out with me. Lol! Have you had comments like these from people too?
