Has anyone watched Despicable Me 2010 Movie yet?? Ooh I so want to watch Despicable Me 2010 Movie.. I heard it is already out in Malaysia.. but will only be released in October in UK.. I want to know who invented the characters?! Especially the little armies – minion!! They look so spastic but soo cute! The ratings seemed quite good at the moment, 7.8/10 at imdb.com, not as high as Toy Story 3 though, but I personally think Toy Story 3 is overrated with 9/10 ratings.. check out the movie trailers..especially the one with the minion .. *hilarious*
Just watched toy story 3D in the cinema.. It was good, not great, but good. The beginning of the show was quite slow.. telling how the toys left Andy, who was going to leave his home for college. Buzz and friends misunderstood Andy’s intention to keep them in the attic instead of donating them away, so they decided to escape. I started enjoying the film towards the middle part where Woody came back and set up a plan to save his friends including Buzz Light year, the potato couple, pork chop, and others from the horrible day care centre, the place where they met the evil pink strawberry scented bear..
It was my 1st time watching a proper 3D movie.. I know im sad. But at least I’v watched it now.. I thought I was gonna be thrilled with the 3D screening.. but then I felt there wasn’t a big difference with or without the 3D glasses.. I felt it was kinda dark using the glasses, in fact most of the time I removed it and it is so much clearer.. lol.. I know I paid extra £2 for the ticket and £1 for the glasses.. silly me.. What do you think about 3D effects??
So, Sex and the City 2 is out and on the go in cinemas now.. The 4 sexy ladies embark on an adventure to Abu Dhabi in this sequel, to spend some quality girly time together without their other halves being there. The ladies do pretty much the same things as in sequel 1 and the tv series, they gossip and giggle, talk about their dreams, reality, goals, meeting the perfect man, clothes and shoes etc.
So the movie tells the story of the 4 ladies who were faced with life issues and dilemma i.e. Carrie and Mr Big going through a crisis in their relationship -mr big asks for 2 days off a week to get some private space with hopes to improve and re-sparkle their relationship, Charlotte can’t cope with her kids and had some issues with the nanny who had a preference of not wearing a bra at work, Sam gets arrested for her offensive ‘sexual’ behaviour in Abu Dhabi, and Miranda was faced with work problems.. The movie revolved around these issues and how these ladies face their challenges and eventually overcome them etc.. I thought there wasn’t a solid plot or an insightful storyline going, it felt like the story-line was somewhat non-existent.. the stories was all very briefly touched..
I was so excited to watch it, so I went to the cinema yesterday when the movie has just released. But, I was dissapointed with the beginning of the show already, the 1st hour started with a gay marriage just for the sake of it, which I thought was not necessary..
When the 4 women got treated to Abu Dhabi for a vacation, the show started picking up. Their luxurious trip to Abu Dhabi was no doubt kinda fun to watch, But I dont see the point why it was filmed in Abu Dhabi for 80% of the show, instead of New York. After all the title of the show is Sex and THE CITY and these ladies lived in New York all their lives! I felt like they were promoting the tourism industry of Abu Dhabi more than anything..
One thing i like very much were the dresses and jewelleries, the way they were dressed up were amazing, very glamorous, the holiday + the jewelleries, dresses and shoes would be the dreams of many women out there, so it was like watching a dream come true.. Having said that, many critics commented that the movie is not realistic etc.. With exaggerated fashion and $22,000 a night worth of suite in a palace-liked hotel, with personal chauffeurs for each of them etc..
But a story mainly about sex, gossips and relationships that lasted for 2.5 hours?? Story line wasn’t good, and running time was too long. The Middle-Eastern country is ridiculed, wrongly portrayed and I think there were some racist jokes that were offensive to the muslim society, and you’d wonder how they would feel or react if they’d watch it, I thought it was quite rude. Basically it’s a movie for pleasure , don’t waste your time if you want a good, satisfying watch, because this is definately not going to be your choice!
The ratings for this movie were terrible, the worst Iv seen so far in this year, 3.3/10 with 963 votes…

The ratings of this movie is 6.8/10. I still can’t believe the ratings for that strange movie – Chloe is still higher than the last few films I posted including this one. I hope there will be good films coming up soon!! Give me an 8 or 9 ratings, so I won’t feel guilty watching when I am supposed to be studying! Grrr.

Robin Hood is certainly not my type of movie.. this is a big production by the same director of Gladiator.. I never liked movies like this.. But I think many people would be looking forward to watch this, am I right? Most of my friends would go for films like this, I don’t mind, but don’t fancy it either. This film doesn’t look promising at all. It looks like a slapstick-ally-silly film to me. And I almost couldn’t recognize Val Kilmer in the trailer, he put on soo much weight since the last time I watched his movie, but then again, that was years ago when I last watched his film, I think it was At first sight, where he was a blind masseur who fell in love with one of his client, loved that film so much. Ahh, I’v waited long enough for this movie. I have always wanted to watch this. So many gorgeous actors and actresses!! I love Jessica Alba and Bradley Cooper, I know he is kinda old, but he is hawt! Not a fan of Patrick Dempsey or Eric Dane though, I know many out there would come chasing after me for saying that Dont know if the story line would be great, I never believe a movie would be great with too many characters in them, but the casts sure looks good to me!! I enjoy watching films with good looking people in it, just makes it so much nicer, great for the eyes. Please leave me a comment let me know what you think of the movie. Was it a good one?

Synopsis

Check out the movie trailer, this is the kind of show I’d like to watch, looked really interesting, with a combination of suspense and thriller, and the ratings from imdb.com is 7/10, looking good. Besides, I think Liam Neeson is a brilliant actor, I liked him in the movie Taken, 2009, he makes good thrillers. This movie is sort of like a psychological sexual thriller, I thought the storyline was good, with a lot of twist that keeps me interested until the end of the show, the casts performed well especially Julianne Moore(like her best). The scenes got quite creepy and intense towards the middle part of the show.. but I thought Amanda Seyfried could have made it better though, the role that she took on could have given more rush and suspense to it, I think she only managed to deliver 70% of that. Overall I think this is a great storyline, it opens up your mind and makes you think, at least it did not bore me a single second I’d rate it 7.5/10.
Only dissapointment is the ending, I thought it ended too sudden, it definately wasn’t predictable which was good, but not satisfying either, it just felt like ‘what?is that it?’ Have you watched Poison Ivy before? This movie has a similar concept to it, but with more twist.
