Season 1

In Prison Break Season 1, Lincoln Burrows is accused of murdering Terrence Steadman, the brother of vice president of USA. Lincoln is sentenced to death. His brother, Michael Scofield, a structural engineer formulates an escape plan for Lincoln as he believes that he is innocent. Michael befriend the prison doctor, Sara Tancredi, where he pretends to suffer from diabetes, in order to gain daily access to the prison’s infirmary. The brothers were aided by their lifelong friend Veronica Donovan, who starts to investigate the conspiracy that put Lincoln in jail. However, they were hindered by the members who work for The Company. The Company was responsible for framing Lincoln, they did it because of Lincoln’s father, Aldo Burrow and his former connections to the company. The brothers and 6 other mates who were known as the Fox River Eight, managed to escape at the end of this season!

Season 2

Prison Break Season 2 focused on the escapees. The fugitives went on separate journeys to locations across the country as they each pursue their individual goals. Brad Bellick, the prison guard, gets sacked, and chases after the inmates himself for the reward. Several escapees reunite in search of a large amount of cash buried by another prisoner. Alexander Mahone, the federal agent is assigned to track down the 8 fugitives, but is revealed to be working for The Company. Later Sara discovered her late father, Governor Frank Tancredi, she met up with Michael and stays with the brothers as they try to bring down the current President, a Company member. To make sure the brother is safe, Sara sacrificed herself, and was arrested and faces trial. The testimony of Paul Kellerman, who used to work for the Company, exonerates Lincoln and Sara. A few of the escapees are killed or recaptured, but the brothers make it to Panama. Michael, T-Bag, Mahone, and Bellick are arrested by the Panamanian authorities and imprisoned at the Penitenciaría Federal de Sona.

Season 3

In Prison Break Season 3, Lincoln is on the outside in Panama whilst Michael is inside Sona, a prison run by the inmates and guarded only from the outside. Gretchen Morgan (a company operative who was in charge of operations in Panama) who kidnapped Burrows son L.J. and Sara Tancredi, contacted Burrows. Burrows were told that The Company wants Scofield to break James Whistler out of Sona. This season then follows the trials of the escape of Michael and Whistler, when Lincoln deals with Gretchen Morgan. Sucre gets a job in the prison to aid Michael’s escape. Gretchen sends Lincoln a head through the post as a warning, when he attempted to rescue Sara and L.J. following a clue from Sara. During the end of the season, they managed to escape together with Mahone and McGrady, leaving behind T-Bag and Bellick. Sucre’s identity is discovered by a prison guard and is thrown into Sona just after the escape. L.J and Sofia are traded for Whistler, and Michael seeks revenge against Gretchen for Sara’s death.

Season 4

Prison Break Season 4 concerns a team recruited by Homeland Security agent Don Self to obtain Scylla. Although the team initially believes it to be the Company’s “black book”, it is later revealed to contain information on an advanced renewable power cell. During the early episodes of this season, the team obtains cards to access Scylla, and break into Company headquarters to steal it. Sara is discovered to be alive, Bellick is killed, and Self is revealed to be a double agent and is planning to sell Scylla to the highest bidder. Reluctantly, Lincoln decides to join the Company to get it back, while Michael suffers from a hypothalamic hamartoma. He is treated and operated on by the Company. He later learns that his mother, Christina is still alive and was an agent of the Company, who is revealed to acquire Scylla to sell to the highest bidder. Eventually, the series ends in Miami, where Scylla is recovered by Michael and the team, the General and the Company is taken down, and Christina is killed. In The Final Break, a story is told explaining about the strange scar on Sara’s shoulder. Largely echoing season one, Sara is involved in common prison fare before Michael hears of the bounty, and plans are devised for her escape.

The TV series has received mainly positive reviews especially for the 1st 2 seasons. Although there were many Prison Break fans out there who supported the Tv series from season 1 until season 4 and think they were brilliant, there were a handful of people who lost interest after the 1st/2nd season. A couple of my friends thought it was great watching it if you havn’t got any deadlines on hand, if not, once you start watching it, you will get addicted, so watch only if you have self discipline, or else, you’ll be spending your whole day in front of the TV for the next couple of weeks

Some of the reviews from the public that I found from tv.com

The show “Prison Break” is more than just a story. It is a detail specific and geniusly assembled time line of events that is filled with captivating plots and settings and the writer of the story has many ways of showing his passion for his work - Zinner035932

After the first season its downpour.. Every episode is making me to lose interest – la_lith

What a show,I say what a show…It was absolutely one of the best shows of the new age of TV and it will always remain that way - diyari

If you’ve never watched this show, it really is a must-see. Action-packed, non-emotionally straining, and down right ingenious at times, especially in the first series, Prison Break is the epitome of the Action genre - CrazyBarry
