Can you believe it? Both Lost season 6 finale and Celebrity Apprentice are airing on the same time at 9pm tonight in the US!! If you are a big fan of Lost and has followed the seasons since 2004, but then on the other hand, there is Bret Michaels, whom you adore so much, what are you going to do? which will you prioritize?? It must be a huge dilemma for those who love both tv series.
Thank god for me, its not a problem, as I love celebrity apprentice, and Bret Michaels more Im really hoping that he will make it to the finals and be the next apprentice 2010!!! He is such a fighter. Did you know what Bret has gone through during the apprentice period?
He was admitted to the hospital for a kidney surgery. Then a brain hemorrhage hit him. 3 days after he went on Oprah show, he had a small stroke, no, its not the end yet. Then the doctors discovered he has a hole in his heart. Yet, Bret is still planning on making the Celebrity Apprentice finale.
What a great episode!! I absolutely love this season. There are so many strong players, it’s so hard to fire anyone at this point, even Donald Trump had difficulty firing Cyndi Lauper in this episode. It was such a close call. I think it would have been easier to fire someone from the other group instead – Sharon Osbourne, Curtis Stone, and Maria Kanellis.
I would have fired Maria since she did not bring in much contribution to their groups success this time, in fact, the celebrity room she designed was a failure too, the judges thought it was too normal, nothing compared to Cyndi’s creation. On the other hand, I think Curtis impressed me with his kitchen designs, removing the kitchen cabinet doors was the smartest choice ever, the addition of colourful decoration and posh kitchen utensils, just made the originally bare kitchen look so much more lively and flavourful, I thought he was very very creative there. Well done, *impressed*
Bret and Holly from the losing team are such strong players, I definitely think if Donald Trump fires Bret, he is soo wrong. Thank god, Bret saved his own ass by saying the right things at the end, you can’t always be mr nice guy, I think when everyone performs so well, it is down to the way you respond to Donald’s questions. I can see a trend in the way he fires someone, if you don’t appear passionate enough, have no preference to whom you want fired, or you can’t justify why you criticize someone, then you will be fired. It’s sad to see Cyndi go though, I thought she is a very creative person in her own ways. I wouldn’t want any of them to leave though, but If I had to choose 2 to stay, it would definitely be Bret and Holly.
I can’t believe this season’s apprentice is coming to an end soon, be sure you catch the finale next week! I can see that Bret could really end up being the next apprentice winner 2010!! The prediction was 70% for Bret being the winner, followed by Holly. If you are interested to find out more about the apprentice ep9, leave me a comment for the password.
Episode 7 is worth watching, one of the best episodes so far.

I think this is the first time no one is fired, so cool right!! They all did well, no one was seen as a weak link, so it is unfair to get rid of anyone really, dont you think? cant wait for next week’s task. I love watching apprentice, coz its so nice to see how they pull it off as a team with the given task in such a short time, and most of the time it involves raising money for charity or for their task.. and its amazing to see how much these celebrities can bring in.. this week’s winner goes to Holly, the money all goes to the charity she started with her hubby – autism support. She and her team managed to bring in over $200k in a day!! And since the other team lost, another $100k goes to her charity!! how wonderful is that!
The woman’s team is on the lead again, can you believe it? now only 2 more guys left in the game! What are these men doing? Lol.. This just shows that woman are as capable as men are or better..
Anyway this time the task was to make over an artist, a country singer. The men has chosen Luke bryan, whilst the woman’s team took Emily West, I think the woman had an advantage because Emily’s voice is absolutely beautiful. Luke was a harder person to work with, he has his own style and prefers to stick to them most of the time, so made it harder for the men to change him over. He did compromise a little with the chain that he wore a the end, but he wasn’t very comfortable in it anyway. Emily on the other hand was easy to work with, as she allowed the girls to make any changes on her, and added some style and edge to her hair and dressing, mainly focussed on black, darker colours, which made her looked sharper and more attractive.
I dont know why Emily West isn’t very famous yet, at least not known to me, her voice is amazing, she has got a big big vocal there. But Im sure she will be more well known now after the apprentice show. I love country music, and she is the sort of singer that I will invest my money on the album.. If you like country music, check her music out here especially Blue Sky.

Oh btw, Goldberg was fired, because he was the project manager, and he delegated 95% task to Bret, eventhough Bret should be responsible as he did most of the work, but Trump thought Goldberg hasn’t done enough to stay. So only Curtis the chef, and Bret the rockstar are left for the men’s team! Good Luck to them, they will need them.

This time around the men’s team won the task, led by Curtis, the chef. However the men’s team is down to 3 people now, because Michael left the game, due to some personal reasons, that was a surprised really, because Bret was the one contemplating whether to stay or to go home to see his daughter, who might be diagnosed with diabetes, but in the end, Bret stayed, and Michael left without any warnings. I wonder if these guys left because they had no more interest and motivation to play or…?
The woman’s team has won 3 tasks in a row, but they can’t be winning all the time can they? The women has stayed long enough, one has to go. Who is the weakest? Sometimes I wonder why Victoria acted the way she is in Episode 5, she really did not help much at all, no wonder she is fired. Sharon Osbourne was sick again, but has been excused, so lucky right? If it happens again, she will probably be the next one to go, it is unfair to the others really, its the 2nd time already in 5 episodes! well, we will see..
Episode 4task involved the 2 selected project managers to fly over to Orlando on a private plane to the new attraction - The wizarding world of Harry Porter, which will be opened to the public this Spring 2010. They were supposed to gather information on this new attraction and report it back to their team members. The team members were responsible to create and present a 3D interactive display, to generate buzz among the Harry Potter fans, who will be judging them. I love this week’s project, it seems really interesting.
The governor(Rod) and Selina were the project managers, I think Rod is a poor manager, on the way back to New York, whilst Selina was working through her project on the laptop, the governor was fast asleep. He did not exactly delegated jobs to his team members but he told Bret to be in charge of everything, and thats it! The woman’s team won again! Oh dear, only 4men left now, and Rod is fired.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Are you a fan of Harry Potter? Have you heard about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter? On 18th of June 2010, the theme park devoted to the world of Harry Potter will be officially open to the public. Hooray!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida will include a wand shop, ollivanders where visitors can re-enact a scene from the beginning of the Harry Potter story, in which the young wizard is “chosen” by his wand. The art director of the film, Alan Gillmore who spent 3 years working on the theme park said that the wand shop would operate the same way, he cannot reveal about the technology they used to do that, but it would be ‘invisible’ to the guests.
There will be butterbeer, the wizards’ drink — it tastes of fudge and is slightly fizzy — chocolate frogs and other staples of the Potter world.
Visitors will ride on an “enchanted bench” through a quidditch match, encounter dragons and seek to avoid dementors, the soulless creatures that suck the happiness out of all who come near them.
Universal Orlando Resort hopes the 20-acre park could prove a potent rival to another and longer established magical kingdom run by Disney.
Muggles, the name given to human beings, were incapable of travelling to Hogwarts in the Harry Potter stories. This awkward point has been skirted by the makers of the theme park.
“The Wizarding World is like an open day for muggles,” said Mr Gillmore
This seems really exciting and a dream come true for all the harry potter fans and children out there, but it may be a nightmare for their parents. Are you excited? Episode 3 was really shocking! Did any of you watched it?
The woman’s team won this week’s task, so someone has got to be fired in the men’s team. And guess what? Most of them put the blame on the project manager as usual, in this case, it was Michael, the world no. 1 sprinter. However, Deryl Strawberry, world class baseball player volunteered to be fired? OMG.. what was he thinking about? He said he wanted to protect the team and take the bullet for Michael? But Mr Trump was convinced that Deryl just wanted to go home, So Deryl was fired. Not a great episode I think, because there was no satisfaction at the end! Urgh.. In so many seasons only 2 people quit and they all regretted it. I really wondered why Deryl would do that, when everyone wanted to stay badly to fight for their charity, he wanted to go. Deryl’s charity was for autistic kids.. Im so disappointed with this guy man.. What’s your say on this?
Trump invited the chief marketing officer of Kodak to brief them about the task. This week, their task was to relaunch Kodak moments – to create, capture and share the most original Kodak moments for their customers. They were judged based on these criterias – originality of the photo studio, Kodak moments brand messaging, overall store front experience for the public.
Sinbad and Maria was chosen to be the project manager for their respective teams this week.
The woman’s team was under control and organized. When the secret shopper arrived, she was greeted, and the photo session was quick, however her experience of getting her photo was not that pleasant, she waited for quite some time. But the executive loved the fact that Summer presented the products to the guest and help to promote Kodak products in store.
For the men’s team, it was very chaotic and disorganized. Bret (rockstar) got really frustrated with Sinbad because he did not know what his task and responsibility was. Most of the time Bret was ignored by Sinbad, that created a tension between them. But the good thing about the men’s team was they managed to give their customer ’the moment’. The guys had a stand to what they were best known for, i.e. Deryl had a baseball bat, Bret had a mini stage with microphones, so they really get their guests into the moment.
Overall, the executive loved the woman’s team. Despite the power going off several times, they still pulled through! So $20k goes to Maria’s charity – Make a wish foundation!! Hooray! It was great news for the kids. 5 kids will be able to make their dreams come true, that is so amazing. In the mens team, they displayed the products but no one was standing around the booth to promote the items, so that was a big factor that has brought them down! So who is fired??? Bret or Sinbad?
Trump : Sinbad, is Bret manageable?
Sinbad : Yes he is
Trump : You(Sinbad) admitted that Bret is managable, you are the project manager but you couldn’t manage Bret, You are fired!
