Great day

Today was a good day at work. I thought it was going to be a stressful and busy day, but it turned out fine! I was working in a large store in high street, so the time passed by really quickly, by the time I looked at my watch, it was almost lunch time. And that is what I like most about working in a busy store. Whee!

I also managed to respond to so many customer queries today, and they were ever so thankful. That is one of the major reasons I like my job here in UK, although someone also asked about STD Testing San Fancisco which I had to look it up and get back to them later, as I do not know how the USA deals with it.

All in all, Im so going to miss that feeling ~ the feeling of being important and in high demand at every single minute! haha.

1 and a half days!!

Only 1 and a half more days till our family trip, hooray! I am so looking forward to our trip away, it is rare the whole family get to meet up, more over in UK, and going for a holiday together ~ to scandinavia. Whooop whooop!! Lets hope it is sunny and warm enough for us to enjoy our stay there.

So, I am going to start counting down till my next holiday comes! Not long to go now ~ 7 more days only. Hee. I am only hoping the weather will be favourable, sunny and not too cold.. I guess it is a bit unlikely for Norway to be warm, but at least dont snow or rain!!! Or else the holiday will be wasted. Can’t wait. But before I leave, I had several things to settle ~ I need to find best hosting for joomla, post my resignation letter, set up my malaysian online banking, and post the application form to ask for a letter of good standing from GpHC, so I can get registered in Malaysia.

It was such a nice day today! It was sunny for a change! And when I got home, it was so warm, I can’t believe it. It should have been like this since a month ago, after all, it is almost summer! But England weather is so unpredictable, who knows maybe it will be 8 degrees again tomorrow? But lets hope it will stay sunny, as I need to bring my sister out to babbacombe for a visit! Eek.

Busy week

Im dreading looking at my schedule for the coming work, darn! None of the 5 days will be easy for me, as they are either very busy stores, or very far to travel, how am I going to have energy to hunt for decorative address plaques to replace the old one? Darn it. It also looks like I’ll be waking up at 7am every morning for the next 5 days. I know that is not very early for most of the people, but it is very early for me!! If im lucky, some days I get to wake up at 8.15am!

Company is changing

So I missed the massive conference held on sunday by the company, but since my friends went, they summarize what happened to me. And boy, Im so glad I resigned and am going home. Can’t put up with those changes at all. Pharmacist are now required to spend most of their time on the chemist counter, meaning we have to serve customers over the counter, even if they are just buying nappies! How insane is that. Accuracy technicians will be checking 30% of the walk in prescriptions. This is just one of the new policies, there are many more..

3 days long weekend

Im looking forward for the coming long weekend. Have everything planned, going down to plymouth for a satay hot pot dinner with my friends. Eating and catching up sessions. I brought some malaysian dessert, and food back for my hong kong friends to try, it would be ideal for me to just bring everything down to plymouth, and let them share it there, since most of them are working in plymouth! Then of course the next day Ill be going shopping. I hope to find a yoyo store as I have promised to get one for my cousin bro ages ago, can’t lie to children these days eh, they’l remember! Apparently it is not easily available in Malaysia anymore. Of course Ill try to get some bargains myself, to stock up before I go home! Haha

Final trip

Hmm, I am still thinking if I should make a final trip to Canada/NEWYORK or just a nearby country in Europe, or forget it, just save the money and go home right after. SUch a difficult decision to make. I would be so lazy to apply for visa to go to USA, but I would also be too lazy to travel to that part of the country once I am back in Malaysia. So its decision time again. Can never escape from making decisions eh!

A guitar gear as gift

I am still considering if I will go to canada before I head back home for good. Decision time again. Canada isn’t cheap at all, but it is closer to travel from Uk than from KL of course, so it would be wise to do it before I go home.

And so I am thinking, since my cousin is there, I can save up on accomodation, will stay in my cousins place for a couple of weeks. If I really do that, Id feel bad, so I am looking at Innovative Percussion Mallets, might get one of those guitar gear for my cousin to return his kindness of letting me stay. What do you think? Good gift or not?

Got through first week

Ah, so glad I got through my first week back from holidays. The week seemed so long, and finally today, I can lie in bed, not worrying about having to wake up early the next day. Saturday nights, how I love you!

It has been a tiring week so far, came back from KL on monday, started work on tuesday and work through till saturday. And on most days, I have to work in health and beauty stores, which are very busy! Urgh. Luckily I resigned. Yay.
